MBBS it is.

MBBS. Short for Bachelor Of Medicine And Bachelor Of Surgery. That's is what I'm going to, or at least plan to dedicate my next 5 years for.

I still can't believe I'm seriously pursuing medicine. Yes, even while doing 2 years foundation in CFS, I never stop doubting this path. But I guess it about time I faced it seriously.

Well, enough about me. The reason why I decide to write a new post on my long-forgotten blog is because I made a promise with myself to write a bit about kuliyyah interview once my place in Kuantan is secured. Because...you know, with hope my post can enlighten the juniors the way the post of the seniors help me facing the interview before. Hopefully it is slightly helpful. Just a bit from what I can recall.

So, kuliyyah interview. The way the interview are conducted differ among courses. For pharmacy and dentistry, it was individual interview. For allied health science and medicine, it was done in group. Not sure 'bout nursing because never got to ask the nursing students. Noted that this may be different for other years because there's time when medic interview was done individually.

As for what to prepared for the interview, first of all, prepare the answer to the most cliche' question ever: 'Why you want to become a doctor/ pharmacy/ etc..?' This question is almost guarantee to be asked. After all, among the aims of this interview is that they want to see whether we're serious about taking this critical courses or not.

Among the other questions for pharmacy students:
-What's your plan for your future career?
-What current issues related to pharmacy that you know other than dispensing issue?
-How do you handle stress?
-Are you single/ do plan to get marry early? (not sure which one)

Questions for medicine students:
-Tell me about yourselves.
-Any involvement in society?
-Have you ever have to deal with difficult team members? How do you deal with them?

As for the dentistry, I don't remember the exact questions but they are very 'unique' questions. Some of my friends were asked questions about their state, i.e, background of famous food. Dentistry interview is probably the hardest among all because it is said that the panels tend to ask unexpected questions. You might even have to sing or draw on the spot. So yeah...

All in all, just give it your best. Don't be too stress about the interview. Don't be like me. Just show your passion for your courses and thing will be fine. InsyaAllah.

I think I've forgotten how to write properly.
